Host a Donation Drive

Donation drives led by individuals, corporate and community groups, and youth organizations, can help DePelchin provide children and families with the items they need most. From essentials like clothes, diapers, and school supplies to gifts for birthdays and holidays, the items collected relieve financial strain on our families and put smiles on the faces of our kids.

Option 1:

Option 2:

Assemble Themed Baskets

Supporters may also collect items within a theme, and assemble them into a basket(s) that will go directly to our families. These baskets help DePelchin families feel celebrated and supported, marking special occasions.

A few examples for themed baskets include:

  • Birthdays
  • Family fun nights
  • Holiday-themed baskets for Valentine’s Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, and more.

Donation Drop-off Instructions

All donated items must be delivered to our Volunteer Services Building at 112 Bethje St. Houston, TX 77007.

Tues – Thurs; 8:30am – 5:00pm

Monday & Friday by appointment only.

Donation Acceptance Policy

Please note that DePelchin is only able to accept new items, and we cannot accept the following:

  • Any previously used items
  • Formula and baby food
  • Toy guns, swords, or weapons
  • Anything that is violent in nature or geared for adults
  • Pets, insect kits, anything living

Any donations that are dropped off that do not meet our criteria or have been on or shelves for an extended period of time will be donated to another organization or used to raise money for DePelchin Children’s Center.
